Frequently Asked Questions What is The Federation of Korean Associations, USA? What does FKA do? There are a large number of Koreans living in the US who do not have permanent residency status or US citizenship. Then it is fair to say that The Federation of Korean Associations, USA and regional Korean Associations are incomplete organizations. By its very nature, the Federation has a close relationship with the Korean government. But the Federation is a representative organization for permanent residents and US citizens, and therefore, it is not fair to equate it with the Korean government, which represents all ethnic Koreans unless they are US citizens. Regardless of the legal status, Koreans living in America are all connected in some way to Korea. We would like to say this: the function of the Federation of Korean Associations, USA is to consider all the variables affecting the lives of Koreans who have chosen to live permanently in America. Therefore, the qualifications have been established to ensure the selection of people who understand all the different factors that affect Koreans in the U.S. |
